On the day the man created Grindr — exactly several years ago this Monday — founder Joel Simkhai explained the only real call he acquired is from competitor, Manhunt, with a buyout supply of “$20,000 or $35,000.”
But after professional and comedian Stephen Fry demoed Grindr live on the British television show “Top Gear” a couple of months eventually in Summer 2009, almost everything switched.
